This Railway Station was an interesting project for Sundial Building Performance.
We were approached by the management of the building because of the extreme ice-damming happening on the eaves of this turn of the century building. The ice-damming made for a serious hazard due to falling debris onto the sidewalk below as well as accelerated deterioration of the building.
We significantly minimized this problem with a major upgrade to the attic spaces.
This involved removal of existing insulation, the application of spray-foam and cellulose insulation.
Hard work, with careful attention to detail, produced great, lasting results and a major reduction of ice damming on the building.
